
Shelby Rutledge
Shelby Rutledge, LSHC Speech Program Director, attended Eastern Kentucky University where she received a Master of Arts degree in Communication Disorders. She has over 35 years of experience as a pediatric Speech/Language Pathologist and has worked in school and clinical settings. Mrs. Rutledge has over 30 years of experience working with children with hearing loss at HSC. She is a Listening Spoken Language Specialist – Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist, which is a specialization obtained through the Alexander Graham Bell Association. Mrs. Rutledge provides Listening & Spoken Language (auditory-verbal) therapy to children and their families. She is also a First Steps (KY’s Early Intervention System) provider and enjoys working with the 0-3 population
